It is always very nice and the food is delicious.

I was brought by my German friends for the first time in October to this local restaurant. You walk up to what you think is a local house, open the door and you are standing in a room with a long wooden tables and benches. There is a second dining room up a couple of stairs with long tables and benches. Everyone eats family style, you get to know your neighbors and it is a warm, friendly, casual atmosphere. While we were here someone started playing the piano and many joined in singing songs. The food is German-Swabian and very local. We ordered a number of dishes to include the Schlachtplatte, the Lauchküchle and Apfelküchel, all delicious. The number of dishes is limited as to what is on the menu and what the house specials are for the day. Additionally there is a selection of wines (red and white) and non-alcoholic beverages. It can be crowded so do not come if you are in a hurry. This is a great hidden gem where locals meet to enjoy a hearty meal and visit friends. It is only open February to March and October to the end of November

Nice rustic broom with nice service and delicious typical broom dishes. From slab with sauerkraut, onion roast beef to Küchle (Swabian pizza), there is a plentiful offer.
